A baker was strangled to death after her scarf got caught in a bread-maker at her bakery in Greece.
Local reports said the baker was a 49-year-old named Zoe, who owned a business in the village of Damasi, near Larissa.
Talking to the Greek news outlet Protothema, the woman who found the dead baker said: ‘She was standing over the bread-maker. The scarf she was wearing around her neck was caught in the machine.
‘It’s a shame and unfair. I’ve been shaking since morning, I can’t believe it, I don’t want to believe that our Zoe is gone.’
The incident occurred on Thursday morning while the baker was cleaning her bread-maker.
The woman who found her immediately called emergency services but they were unable to save Zoe.
It is reported the baker’s mother also recently passed away, while she is survived by two children.
