Ariana Grande was confirmed to star in a new animated musical based on Oh the Places You’ll Go by Dr Seuss. She will voice a lead role alongside Josh Gad.
The film is set to release in cinemas on March 17, 2028, with direction by Jon M Chu and Jill Culton. The original songs were created by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
This latest acting project came while fans continued to question her plans in music. Ariana had been focusing more on film work lately, which left many wondering if she was slowly stepping away from the studio.
The Wicked star opened up about ongoing concerns on social media, saying: “Singing and music is and has always been my lifeline.”
She continued, “There will need to be room made for all of it,” addressing her plan on working both music and film sides.
The 7Rings hitmaker said her career looks different now but she likes it that way. She teased that she might sing again next year, even if just for a moment.
This new Dr Seuss movie added to Ariana Grande’s growing list of film roles, coming after her big part as Glinda in Wicked, which returns with its second chapter this November.
