Amazon has added an exclusive new feature to its flagship Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series. Dubbed Interactive Art, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) fuelled functionality was teased when the Smart TV lineup was revealed back in November 2024, but over six months later, is now coming to living rooms nationwide.
Interactive Art leverages the high-fidelity radar sensor built into the bezel of the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series to turn your screen into a living and breathing artwork.
Once your flatscreen has been updated to the latest version of Fire OS, the operating system that powers Amazon’s Fire TV devices, you’ll be able to choose from over 10 scenes, including fluttering butterflies, swimming koi fish, and colourful tiles.
These interactive art pieces serve as a screensaver when you’re no longer watching television. Unlike the other screensavers built into Fire OS, Interactive Art comes to life in response to your movement in front of the Fire TV. According to Amazon, the sensor is able to “turn the big screen into a dynamic canvas, where natural movements inspire the flow and form of the artwork”.
