Gordon Ramsay expressed his overwhelming pride today as he walked his daughter Holly down the aisle at Bath Abbey, where she married Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty.

The celebrity chef, 59, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram ahead of the ceremony, posting photographs of himself with his daughter, 25.

“I’m truly so lucky being able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gaining an incredible son-in-law @adam_peaty!” Ramsay wrote. “I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn’t be a prouder Dad xxx.” (sic)

The Hell’s Kitchen star was photographed entering the historic church with Holly on Saturday afternoon, as she and Adam exchanged vows before an audience of high-profile guests.

Mr Peaty, who celebrates his 31st birthday tomorrow, wed Holly at the Somerset landmark.

The pair first crossed paths through Holly’s sister Tilly when both were competing on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2021.

Their romance blossomed in the years that followed, culminating in an engagement announcement on September 12, 2024.

Holly shared the news with her followers on Instagram at the time, writing: “I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now.”

Foliage decorated the exterior of Bath Abbey ahead of the afternoon ceremony, with the historic venue providing a stunning backdrop for the nuptials.

Following the church service, the newlyweds are expected to continue celebrations at Kin House, a five-star country estate in Wiltshire.

Sources say security measures were heightened around the venue to prevent members of the public from photographing the occasion.

The wedding attracted a glittering array of famous faces, with the Beckham family among the most notable attendees.

Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham arrived alongside their daughter Harper, the long-standing friendship between the two families evident in their presence at the celebration.

Lady Victoria had previously joined Holly’s hen party earlier in the year, underscoring the close bond between the Ramsays and Beckhams.

Dragons’ Den investor Sara Davies was also spotted among the guests at the Somerset ceremony.

Chef Marcus Wareing, who once trained under Gordon at his restaurants, attended the nuptials alongside other culinary world figures.

Mr Peaty’s sister Bethany was present at the wedding, reportedly serving as one of Holly’s bridesmaids, with the pair having developed a close relationship.

Despite the joyous occasion, the wedding has been overshadowed by reports of a bitter rift within the Peaty family.

A significant family feud has erupted between Holly and Mr Peaty’s mother, Caroline, leading her and most of Adam’s family being uninvited from the wedding.

The feud became public when Caroline was not invited to Holly’s hen party in November 2025, a situation that Adam’s aunt publicly criticised on social media.

Tensions reportedly began earlier, during the couple’s engagement party, over filming for a Netflix documentary and the guest list.

According to reports, Mr Peaty’s mother had initially considered attending the ceremony uninvited but ultimately decided against the plan.

Caroline reportedly concluded that appearing at Bath Abbey would prove too distressing and she did not wish to overshadow her son’s special day.

The family dispute has cast a shadow over the lead-up to the celebrations, though the couple pressed ahead with their plans for the lavish ceremony.

Round-the-clock security was allegedly arranged to manage access to the venue amid the reported tensions.

Amid rumours of a family feud, social media users were quick to comment beneath Mr Ramsay’s tribute to Holly.

“Are Adam’s folks even going to the wedding? Sounds like so much drama happened!” one user wrote, while another commented: “Hardly a family celebration.”

However, many others were quick to offer congratulations to Holly and her father on the momentous occasion.

“Congratulations! You have a beautiful family,” one wrote, while another added: “So beautiful. I know there will be tears — lots of joyful tears. Congratulations to the beautiful couple.” (sic)

Holly has established herself as an influencer and advocate for mental wellbeing, launching her podcast “21 & Over” in 2021 to support those grappling with anxiety, self-doubt and identity challenges in contemporary society.

She is the second eldest of Gordon and Tana Ramsay’s six children, with older sister Megan, 27, and twin brother Jack, 25.

The couple also have daughter Tilly, 24, who inadvertently played matchmaker through her Strictly appearance.

Speculation has swirled about whether other celebrity chefs might have attended, with Jamie Oliver and Fred Sirieix rumoured as potential guests given their connections to the Ramsay family, although their presence remained unconfirmed.
