Last Christmas, Zendaya and Tom Holland had much to celebrate while in the US with her family as the actor popped the question to his longtime love.
But this year the engaged couple are spending the festive season with Tom’s comedian father Dominic, his photographer mum Nicola and his three brothers in London.
Despite their A-list profiles, Tom and Zendaya have so far enjoyed a very ordinary English Christmas.
Over the weekend the couple headed up to Leicester to take in a performance of The Sound of Music at Leicester’s Curve theatre.
After their theatre trip, Tom and Zendaya shunned a lavish restaurant in favour of an under-the-radar curry house – much to the delight of the owner.
And on Monday they joined Tom’s family for a fun-filled day out at The Traitors: Live Experience in London as well as taking their dogs for a stroll around Richmond Park.

Snaps of Zendaya and Tom’s low-key meal at Everest Lounge in Market Harborough over the weekend quickly made it to social media, with the restaurant owner revealing his staff were ‘starstruck’.
‘We were fully booked for Saturday so we were exceptionally pleased that we were able to accommodate them for the evening and that’s where everything started,’ owner Pradip Karanjit told the BBC.
‘My staff were absolutely starstruck and we were, in a way, in panic mode but throughout the service they remained really professional.’
Sharing pictures of the couple on the restaurant’s Instagram, Mr Karanjit wrote: ‘What an honour for Market Harborough!
‘We were absolutely delighted to welcome Tom Holland and Zendaya to our town and to have the opportunity to serve such wonderful Hollywood stars at Everest Lounge.
‘Moments like this remind us how special our local hospitality is – world-class warmth right here at home. A night we won’t forget! Huge thanks to our team at Everest Lounge for their professionalism.’
The couple had been in the area to watch The Sound of Music at Leicester’s Curve theatre on Saturday.
‘It’s the second year Tom has been to see one of our shows. We were very excited to see them,’ a spokesperson for the Curve theatre said.

They were also joined by Tom’s twin brothers Sam and Harry, 26, and their girlfriends Clark and Zara, youngest brother Paddy Holland, 21, and pals Harrison Osterfield and Tuwaine Barrett.
Sam also shared a recap of the family night out, captioning his Instagram post: ‘My traitor twin. Had a great time at @thetraitorslive yesterday.
‘You can’t trust anyone when you enter the round table… not even family.’
The venue shared a short video of the team and Zendaya was seen sporting an oversized brown sweater with a dark red lipstrick and a very short curled bob hairstyle.
Meanwhile Tom wore a burgundy sweater with matching tailored trousers and a cream overcoat.
Elsewhere Tom and Zendaya headed out for a walk in Richmond Park, joined by two Protection Dog staff members and their beloved black miniature schnauzer, Noon.
Zendaya sported a trench coat, scarf and jeans while Tom kept warm in a beanie and padded black coat.

The couple confirmed their engagement when Zendaya debuted her ring on the Golden Globes in January after four years of dating.
The stars confirmed their relationship after they were spotted kissing in 2021 and now live in their $3.7million home in London’s Richmond.
In October, Tom playfully corrected a reporter who referred to Zendaya as his ‘girlfriend’.
During a panel interview, a journalist said to Tom: ‘I brought my daughter, and she got to meet your girlfriend. So, I was father of the year.’
Tom laughed and corrected him by saying: ‘fiancée’.
Sources had previously told DailyMail.com that Tom took an ‘old-fashioned’ approach and got permission from Zendaya’s family before he asked for his Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star’s hand in marriage.
‘The proposal was sweet and romantic and happened over the holidays,’ the insider dished. ‘He did it the old-fashioned way and got permission from her folks. Everyone is thrilled.’
The source continued: ‘They are the most normal couple at home, and she is ready to spend her life with him. She has gotten everything she dreamed of and marrying Tom and starting a family is next on her list.’
