Avengers: Doomsday is Marvel’s forthcoming tentpole, so the studio has reportedly opted to release not one but four teasers for the movie’s trailer.

The release is apparently tied to Avatar: Fire and Ash. As the sources tell The Hollywood Reporter every week, a new trailer will drop for the moviegoers.

“Disney is sending theaters four different trailers for the Marvel mega-movie — each will play for one week, before switching to the next. So, if you see Fire and Ash opening weekend, you’ll get trailer one. If you go a week later, you’ll get trailer two, and so on,” sources claim.

The Russo brothers, best known for directing Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, are directing the upcoming film.

“Being able to create stories and explore characters within the Marvel Universe fulfilled a life-long dream of ours, and we discovered a powerful connection with audiences in each film that we made,” the pair previously said on the SDCC panel.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate once again with Kevin, Lou, and the entire Marvel team to bring this epic adventure in storytelling to new and surprising places for both the fans and ourselves.”

Avengers: Doomsday will hit cinemas on December 18, 2026.
