A love letter addressed to a 13-year-old girl from Utah was found in the trailer of a convicted sex offender who is accused of kidnapping the teenager after he allegedly fired a gun at the family.
Christopher Thomas Wiggins faces a charge of child kidnapping and was arrested on November 26 in Colorado, hours after an Amber Alert was released for the abduction of the young girl from Ogden.
The 34-year-old’s trailer, which sat on the same property where the victim lived, was searched, where investigators discovered a note written by Wiggins, according to documents cited by ABC 4.
Wiggins allegedly wrote twisted messages such as: ‘You are my everything,’ ‘I can’t possibly live without you,’ ‘I will sacrifice everything to be with you forever,’ and ‘If it costs me my life, you are worth it to me.’
Along with the note, officials found condoms and bullets.
The victim’s parents confronted Wiggins after finding an explicit image sent to their daughter’s phone – he allegedly admitted to sending the photo.
Erica Francisco, the victim’s mother, was speaking with her child several blocks away from their home about the relationship happening with Wiggins.
Wiggins found the pair and fired a shot at the back of the car, according to court documents.

He allegedly apologized and gave the family the gun he had fired. The parents later returned the weapon to him.
A day before the girl was abducted she confessed to her parents about her relationship with Wiggins. They warned the sex offender to keep away.
The following day the mother contacted the police to report her child missing at 1.44pm.
The Francisco family told the authorities that their youngest daughter was believed to have been with the sex offender since 3am.
Wiggins allegedly left his own daughter in his trailer as the abduction was taking place.
Police issued an Amber Alert for Chris’s vehicle and the victim.
A camera tracked his vehicle to Colorado not long after the pair was found not far from Wiggins’ abandoned car around 7pm.

Erica told ABC 4 how she felt about Wiggins after her daughter was found: ‘I hate him.’
‘You took my little girl, my youngest of them all, the baby of the family, and I hate you. You lied to me, you misled me for a year and a half, and you took everything that meant something to me.’
The Francisco family told the outlet that Wiggins had been an acquaintance since they were kids. They helped the sex offender stay off the street and let him live on their property.
‘We weren’t going to let him and his daughter out on the streets and gave them a roof over his head. And his little girl is always welcome here, but he is never allowed around my family again,’ said the mother.
‘I hope he rots away.’
His previous victim was a 14-year-old girl.
The family thanked everyone who helped find their daughter and was so grateful for ensuring she got home safely.
Wiggins is currently being held without bail in the Weber County jail.
