The Summer I Turned Pretty star Gavin Casalegno has broken silence on fans’ theories related to the movie of the hit Prime series.
During his latest confessional with PEOPLE Magazine at the Elle Actors Rising event in Los Angeles, he opened up about what he knows of Jenny Han’s plans for the movie.
While claiming that the cast is “clueless” apart from the logistics of the much-anticipated movie, Casalegno teased that the collective imagination of the fanbase might have already hit the mark.
In doing so, he reassured that he is 100% “sure” at least “one of the fan predictions is correct,” skipping the part where he confirms which one of the fans’ prediction it was.
While announcing the movie last year, Jenny Han said in a statement about the final chapter of Belly’s, played by Lola Tung, transformative journey.
“There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due,” Han remarked in a press release.
“I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans,” he concluded.
