Singer Brooke Josephson, who recently announced she is divorcing her producer husband named in the Jeffrey Epstein files, appeared downcast as she was pictured on Monday in Los Angeles.
Brooke, 46, was seen picking up a smoothie at a Kreation Juicery location, clad in a black Adidas tracksuit over a white top, with white and gray sneakers.
The Good Kinda Tired artist wore white-rimmed eyeglasses with a camouflage hat with the phrase ‘LA’ in pink lettering, toting a Chanel black studded lambskin CC Wallet on Chain crossbody bag.
The outing came days after Brooke posted a statement to Instagram indicating her divorce with Barry Josephson – the executive producer of the TV series Bones, with whom she has two children – was moving forward.
Brooke said she was ‘prepared to share a personal update … in light of recent events in the news this week,’ saying she ‘was not aware of Barry’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein during [their] entire marriage.’
The couple separated in December 2024, and court docs filed in Los Angeles indicate it was Barry who initially filed for the split at that time.

Brooke, who married Josephson in 2007, added in her Instagram post on Saturday: ‘I respectfully request privacy and prayers for our children and I during this time.’
She concluded the message by thanking ‘all who have shown compassion and respect’ amid the turbulent time.
Recently released documents uncovered frequent communication between Barry Josephson and Epstein – with women and money among the topics discussed.
These included an email exchange in 2011, where Josephson told Epstein: ‘I have “the” girl,’ adding, ‘Young, attractive, insane rack.’
Barry Josephson said the woman had been ‘smart, although not a genius, but very efficient, will do anything, and tight lipped period end of story,’ according to the documents released by the Department of Justice last month.
The Daily Mail has reached out to both parties for further comment on the story.
Barry Josephson’s exchanges with Epstein came after the late sex offender pleaded guilty to solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of prostitution with a minor under the age of 18 in 2008.
In a February 2013 email, Josephson told Epstein: ‘Casting girls for my pilot on Monday if he wants to stop by my office :).’

When Epstein, in vain, requested that specific women be cast in shows Josephson produced, according to the DoJ documents, Josephson told Epstein he would ‘do anything to make amends’ when he was unable to use his clout to make it happen.
‘The whole auditioning process is brutal, it’s harsh, it’s filled with disappointment,’ Josephson explained to Epstein, noting it was even a difficult task to get his then-spouse, Brooke, a small role on Bones in 2007.
Josephson also borrowed $120,000 from Epstein in 2011 and $215,000 in 2013, both of which were repaid, according to the documents.
After evening out the second loan, Josephson told Epstein in an email: ‘I am overwhelmed by your friendship.’
New York-based attorney Evan D. Schein told Daily Mail that the Josephson split could be the first of many divorces caused by the release of the Epstein files.
‘We have seen the financial and reputational fallout from being named in the Epstein files,’ Schein said. ‘Now, we are hearing more and more about arguably the greatest impact of all which is happening in marriages, with high-profile couples calling it quits after the news of being mentioned in the Epstein files continues to be made public.’
The attorney, who has a podcast about high-profile divorces called Schein On, said that ‘divorce judges are used to hearing about horrific situations and circumstances and they often see people at their absolute worst.’
With that in mind, Schein said that ‘judges are going to understandably want answers to a long list of questions before making any custody or financial determinations in contested divorce proceedings.’

Schein advised ‘spouses confronted with this situation’ should ‘proceed carefully’ and consult with a divorce attorney.
‘Getting informed early about one’s legal position can help frame decisions around finances, custody, and next steps, and may prevent matters from escalating unnecessarily either in court or in the media,’ Schein told Daily Mail.
Barry Josephson distanced himself from Epstein in a statement to Variety earlier this month: ‘I knew nothing about him. You learn more and you distance yourself completely.’
The film producer was contrite in a statement he issued to the outlet about his correspondence with Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell in 2019.
Josephson said: ‘There’s no excuse for what I said in some of my emails. The language was crude and juvenile, and I’m ashamed.’
He said, ‘While I did attend social events with Epstein, and he did visit my sets twice, I never traveled with him on his plane, visited his island, or saw him in the company of minors.’
Josephson continued, ‘In my 47 years working in the entertainment industry, I’ve encountered thousands of people.
‘My biggest regret, bar none, is that I foolishly believed his denials of wrongdoing.’
Brooke took to Instagram Stories to announce the news on Saturday

Josephson said that he was ‘blinded’ by Epstein’s ‘circle of acquaintances from varied industries’, which led him to misread the situation.
He ended his statement to the outlet by saying, ‘I apologize to all who were hurt by this clearly terrible and depraved individual.’
In related news, Ghislaine Maxwell on Monday refused to answer questions over Epstein unless she received clemency from President Donald Trump.
Maxwell pleaded the Fifth when she appeared virtually before lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee at a closed-door hearing on Capitol Hill.
She was deposed as part of the bipartisan congressional investigation into the Justice Department’s prosecution and handling of the Epstein case.
Maxwell, 64, is serving a 20-year prison sentence in Texas after she was convicted of trafficking young girls to Epstein in 2021.
