The 53-year-old actress – who recently revealed why she and husband Dwyane Wade never joined the mile high club – flashed a cheerful smile with the seven-year-old upon arriving to the red carpet.
The Bring It On star shares Kaavia with the former NBA star, 44, whom she tied the knot with in 2014.
Union turned heads wearing an outfit that comprised of a black-striped, animal print design on the material along with shades of red and tan.
She additionally slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels while her long locks were styled into a half up do.
Union opted for minimal accessories to allow the look to be the main focal point for the evening and added a few flashy bracelets on her right wrist.

Union added, ‘And as long as it’s safe and appropriate for the weather, then it’s really up to her.
‘And you don’t have to follow anybody, it’s no one else’s choice but yours how you express yourself.’
Goat is an upcoming animated sports comedy that is slated to officially release in theaters later this month on February 13.
Union took on a major role in the movie to voice the character of Jett Fillmore, while Wade also voiced Rosette.
The premise is: ‘A small goat with big dreams gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world,’ per IMDB.
