50 Cent dished out a brutal snub to Travis Kelce‘s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole as he reflected on the Kansas City Chiefs star’s romance with Taylor Swift.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was namedropped by Swift on her new album ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ which she released at the start of the month.
Asked about the shoutout during an interview with Extra TV, Jackson admitted that he’s a fan of Swift and insisted: ‘I like her boyfriend too. I like the team. I like KC’.
The interviewer then asked about his opinion on the relationship, to which he said: ‘I do, I do. I like it a lot better than the last thing [Kelce] had going on.’
The interviewer was evidently stunned by the response, to which Jackson simply flashed a smile and repeated: ‘It’s a lot better’.
Kelce and Nicole, who is a prominent content creator, dated on-off for five years until 2022. During that time, they were pictured at a number of glitzy events together.

Swift had never previously spoken about Nicole, since announcing her romance with the Chiefs tight end, but seemingly dissed her on a track on her new album.
The line that seems to allude to Nicole, 33, is: ‘You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose.’
The meaning seems to be that Kelce felt lonely because Nicole was distracted by fame.
In an old video dug up by fans, Kelce can be seen asking Nicole to ‘get off your phone.’
Fans went wild over the lyrics: ‘TAYLOR SWIFT JUST CALLED KAYLA NICOLE TF OUT IM LIVING FOR TS12 #thelifeofashowgril,’ one fan wrote on X, while another added, ‘Opalite- sweet song and the Kayla digs are savage.’
Taylor announced her engagement to NFL star Kelce in August.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the interview, Jackson further reflected on his shoutout on Swift’s album.
On her song ‘Ruin the Friendship’, Swift sings: ‘And it was not an invitation / But as the 50 Cеnt song played / Should’ve kissed you anyway.’

Swift told Capital Breakfast that she named the track Opalite because: ‘I thought it was a kind of a cool metaphor that like it’s a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made too’
‘It really is cool because when she makes the reference, if you listen to the song, it’s to what was going on in culture at that time,’ he explained.
‘The music, you couldn’t miss it at that point and that’s why it was cool to me… What she was making reference to is the period that no one was more prominent in music at that point.’
Kelce, meanwhile, recently joined up with an investment group to purchase a significant stake in a popular brand of theme parks.
Kelce, who describes himself as a theme-park ‘superfan’, joins Jana Partners – a New York-based hedge fund and activist investor – and other financiers for the purchase of $200million worth of shares on Tuesday.
